Skylight Arch
Description
Skylight Arch is just that, a skylight. The hike begins on the ridge and travels along the edge, offering vistas of the beautiful rock formations of the area and Lake Powell. The trail meanders along the ridge until you reach the end. Unexpectedly, you are at Skylight Arch. This arch is very unique because you come up to it and look down into it, like you are on top of a skylight

Let’s Do This
Parking: It not likely you will see anyone else, so there is not concern for parking. You will travel down gravel fire roads to get to the trailhead, with some elevation gain. I don’t think I would try to get to the start of this trail in a car.
Timing: Complete early or late in the day, there is absolutely no relief from the sun on this hike.
Downloaded Map: Recommended.
Fees: This hike is in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, which does require a fee for entry or use of National Parks Pass
