Madison Falls – Olympic National Park
Description
This short and sweet hike will bring you to Madison Falls, a waterfall amidst the trees and greenery of the Olympic Penisula.
One might describe this as more of a scenic stroll. You will not exert yourself much, but will still be rewarded with a beautiful waterfall. The green of the mosses, leaves, and ferns almost glows.
The sound of the water is so relaxing. An additional treat is at the parking lot, which is along the Elwha River. The sun was shimmering on the water when we were there, which added to the serenity of the whole experience.
