The Hat Shop
Description
The blazing orange hoodoos of Bryce Canyon are a geological paradise. Many of the hikes in Bryce Canyon National Park allow you to walk amongst them. This hike is no exception. The path of this hike wanders outside the main amphitheater, though you will still be treated to up close viewing of hoodoo formations. You will ultimately reach the Hat Shop, a unique area of cream towers and balanced brown rocks on top of them. Also stunning vistas of the surrounding cliffs of Bryce.

Parking: You will park at the Bryce Point parking lot. This is a larger lot, but we have witnessed it full numerous times. This is a viewpoint area, so if the lot is full and you wait for a bit, the odds are good a spot will open up.
Timing: Recommend earlier in the day related to limited shade, and of course for the solitude.
Downloaded Map: Not necessary, though it’s nice to know “how much longer”.
Fees: This hike is within Bryce Canyon National Park. You will be required to pay the entrance fee or to present your National Parks Pass.
